What percentage of the sale do I earn?

Online venues such as Amazon keep approximately 15%, PER ITEM. The rest are PROCEEDS.
You get paid 35% of the PROCEEDS, PER ITEM, which equals about 30% of the sale price.
For example, if an item sells for $10.00 you get $2.13 ($10.00 x 85% x 35% = $2.98).

It has always been our goal to pay our clients as fairly as possible. Honestly, we would love to pay you more. However, full-service selling of books, CDs, and DVDs requires a lot of labor and storage, which are also of the advantages of letting us do the work.

What is the duration of the consignment period?

The consignment period is indefinite. If an item has not sold in a year, we will probably contact you about removing it from our inventory. You may cancel at any point for any reason.

How are the books priced?

We have developed an amazing software program that monitors prices on Amazon.com and resets the price of each book, CD, and DVD more than once each day. Competitive pricing is essentail for selling items quickly for the "right" price. A number of factors are considered, including our sensational buyer feedback rating. Over time, our system reduces comparison factors to make the item more competitive until sold.

Of the items we listed in 2011: 35% sold within 30 days, 49% within 60 days, and 81% sold as of June 13, 2012.

Is there a store?

We only sell online through venues such as Amazon.com, Abebooks.com, Alibris.com and www.booksbychance.com. We do offer a local pick-up option for orders placed directly on our site.
